About Us
Mission Statement
The Palm Beach County Estate Planning Council's mission is to provide a forum for education, collaboration and networking in order to enhance membership knowledge, promote a multi-disciplinary approach to estate planning and strengthen the quality of estate planning services offered to the public.
Who We Are
The Council was founded in 1984. We are a nonprofit organization with more than 200 members who are among the most knowledgeable estate planning practitioners in the area.
Our membership includes accountants, attorneys, care providers, insurance professionals, planned giving experts, trust officers and wealth managers who strive to be at the top of their respective fields.
The Council is an active member of the National Association of Estate Planners and Councils (NAEPC), which is an organization that is focused on establishing and monitoring the highest professional and educational standards for estate planners and affiliated estate planning councils. The NAEPC promotes public awareness of the quality of services rendered by professionals who meet these standards. It promotes cooperation and understanding of the different roles estate planning practitioners have with each other, their clients and the general public.
Where We Meet
We have monthly meetings from September to May at the beautiful North Palm Beach Country Club in Palm Beach Gardens (directions). We also host an annual Season Kick-Off Reception and a Holiday Party at exciting venues around the county.
At our monthly meetings we offer educational and networking opportunities through presentations from industry leaders about planning techniques, current laws and shared experiences pertaining to the many disciplines of estate planning. Our meetings provide the opportunity to visit with friends and establish new relationships.
The Estate Planning Council of Palm Beach County, Inc. is a member of the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils (NAEPC). Our partnership with the NAEPC provides members with new services and opportunities, as well as, providing information on other estate planning councils and their members throughout the country. Please browse our website for more information about our Council and the NAEPC.
