Jonathan Fitzgerald, J.D.
Vice President and Director of Wealth & Fiduciary Planning, State of Florida
Jonathan is responsible for developing customized wealth management and financial plans for high-net-worth individuals and families, business owners, entrepreneurs, and foundations and endowments throughout the State of Florida. His areas of expertise include estate and retirement planning, insurance planning, investment planning, education planning, business succession planning, legacy planning, and philanthropic planning. Jonathan and his team work closely with clients and their advisors to develop estate , trust, and financial strategies to help clients meet their current needs and plan for their long-term objectives.
Prior to joining Wilmington Trust, Jonathan was in private practice of law, advising high-net-worth individuals in their estate and federal taxation planning. Earlier in his career, Jonathan worked for four years in the international public accounting firm of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in the firm’s New York City banking and capital markets practice.
Jonathan holds a J.D. from the University of Florida Levin College of Law and a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Notre Dame. He is a member of the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants and is a member of the Florida Bar Tax Law and Real Property and Probate Law sections.
